"Mill Run" is a scene in Ooltewah, Tennessee on
Wolftever Creek, once visited by Mr. Hampton as a young boy where he learned to
swim at the age of nine. He also ground meal at the old gristmill and
hunted Indian relics on the banks and knolls along the creek. The sun
light dances across the water, reflecting the first blooms of spring in pastel
hues of red bud and dogwood trees, as the crooked cedar seems to bend down from
the bank to reach the gently flowing water.
